If you are a borrower, or guarantor, and have a complaint about a service provided by any member of the Southern Cross Group (“SCG”), then please proceed further.

In the event SCG receives a complaint from a borrower, then SCG will:

  1. Within 3 working days, send a written receipt or acknowledgement to you;
  2. Within 5 working days after receiving the complaint, send a written request to you if it needs any further information relevant to the complaint;
  3. Within 10 working days after receiving the complaint, decide whether or not your complaint is justified, and notify you in writing of the manner in which complaint is to be dealt with.
  4. Should SCG’s appointed Internal Dispute Resolution Contact Person (Melvin Shaw) determine that your complaint is not justified, the informed of your right to use SCG’s external dispute resolution scheme.

SCG External Dispute Resolution Scheme

SCG has a free external dispute resolution scheme which can be accessed by contacting Financial Services Complaints Limited (FSCL) at PO Box 5967, Lambton Quay, Wellington 6011. Email [email protected].

We are licensed by the Financial Markets Authority (FMA), the government agency that is responsible for financial regulation in New Zealand.

Southern Cross Partners Limited are licensed to provide peer to peer lending services, is a contributory mortgage broker, and is the contract manager of loan name of Loan Investment Trustees Limited and other investors. Complaints or disputes relating to these loans should be directed to Financial Services Comp Limited (FSCL) – A Financial Ombudsman Service and Southern Cross Partners Limited is bound by the resolution or decision.
